In July 2022 the UK launched a multi-national training programme,Operation Interflex with the aim of training up to 10,000 Ukrainians every 120 days. To carry out basic infantry courses a large number of rifles which were similar to those that Ukrainian troops would be using operationally were needed. This led to a major procurement of AK-pattern rifles. In this video we’ll breakdown every type of AK (from Zastavas to Galil ACEs) procured by the UK to train Ukrainian personnel!
