Hugo Borchardt refused to make changes to his revolutionary C93 pistol design, and so manufacturer DWM assigned coworker Georg Luger to the task. The resultant Luger pistol is one of the most recognizable and successful pistols of the 20th century.
Borchardt felt he never received the recognition he deserved, putting himself and his former colleague at odds. However, that didn’t stop Luger from presenting Hugo Borchardt with a special cased Model 1902 Luger Carbine.
It’s a historic arm bearing the monograms of the two men responsible for its creation.
