So off he toddled on a three day 62km / 4000m hike through the Swiss alps with this piece of kit, and also a Särmä Merino Polo Shirt, and a pair of Särmä Windproof Cargo Pants. How did they fare in a real mix of conditions? Were they as awesome as should be expected? Did they pass the Ronseal test?
