The APILAS or Armour-Piercing Infantry Light Arm System, developed by France’s GIAT Industries in the early 1980s, is perhaps one of the rarest shoulder-fired anti-armour weapon systems to appear in Ukraine. In this video we take a look at the rare sightings of APILAS in theatre and hear from some of the operators who have used it.
