The PPSH-41 is the quintessential Soviet subgun. Soldiers loved it for its reliability and tremendous rate of fire. The Russian army loved it because on top of its effectiveness, it was cheaper and easier to produce.
Today, it’s an easily recognized staple of World War 2 era arms, and the “burp gun” has earned its place in history.
