In the early 19th century, they was no “standard” design for repeating firearms. Any designer was welcome to throw their hat in the ring, and the result were some truly unique, innovative, and unusual solutions.

Today’s video looks at three such technological marvels of the era: the Gardner gun, the Nordenfelt gun, and the Gatling gun.
