John Armstrong: Classic American Artistry

John Armstrong is one of the most significant American longrifle makers of the Golden Age. Practicing his craft out of Emmitsburg, Maryland, Armstrong took these practical and even quintessential working objects and raised them to the status of art.

Beautiful and rife with early American artistry, no detail was overlooked in the creation of this spectacular rife. “It has every attribute of the Golden Age you can imagine.” High praise indeed from Lead Historian Seth Isaacson, and certainly well deserved.
