I bought this American percussion picket rifle a few months ago to repair it for my son. It took a lot of work to make it shoot again. Although it is a poor boys rifle, it tells a lot about the early years of the industrialization of gun making in the United States. Cast steel, gain twist, taper bore, choke bore. Well this is my channel and these are my impressions about shooting old and repro blackpowder and cartridge guns.
