Grades of Browning Superposed Shotguns

#Browning #superposed #RIAC

The Browning Superposed shotgun brought a high-quality over/under to the masses. Designed by the legendary John Moses Browning in the late 1920s, it became one of the most popular o/u shotguns in the world. Such widespread popularity brought about a number of embellishments in several factory grades of finish.

Our May Premier Auction has a consecutively numbered set of Browning Superposed all chambered in .410, which provide an excellent opportunity to examine the differences in the various grades of these quintessential shotguns. Rick even explains the changing in their naming conventions and how Browning has added and removed grades through the decades.
