Golden Guns of the Maharaja

These gilded firearms were ordered by the Maharaja of Jodhpur Raja Takht Singh and his successor son, Jaswant Singh. Crafted in the late 19th century by the renowned English gunsmiths at Charles Lancaster, they are high art objects in every sense of the word.

Absolutely lustrous with their golden finish and bright nitre blue parts, Lancaster spared no expense. They are awash in exquisite engraving, high polish wood, delicate checkering, and meticulously crafted Damascene barrels. Such beauty is not without power, and these arms were intended to be as effective as they are stunning.
