Godfathers of English Gun Engraving

Prior to the introduction of Italian Bulino-style engraving, two of the most prolific master engravers of realistic game scenes were English artists Harry Kell and his apprentice Ken Hunt. Such detail in their era was second-to-none, and when placed on guns from England’s finest craftsmen, the result is a sporting arm worthy of envy even today.
