Czech Vz58 to 500yds: Practical Accuracy

Practical Accuracy scoreboard now on Patreon! ?

The Czech/Czechoslovakian Vz.58 was a legendary rifle, serving Czechoslovakia, (later the Czech Rep., Slovakia) for more than 60 years. Known for it’s accuracy, reliability and how it differers in every way from the Kalashnikov, outside of the appearance; the Vz. 58 has been a loyal friend to the Czech soldier.

Many Czech service members were hesitant on turning their Vz.58 in for a good reason. The rifle is light-weight, accurate and one of the most dependable systems available.

We shoot a beautiful example on loan from Small Arms Solutions, which was made by Czech Small Arms and sold by Czechpoint USA. Henry liked it so much that he ended up procuring one for his personal collection after testing it!
