The Columbian Exposition wasn’t just important for the city of Chicago to set itself on par with the big cities back East. It was an opportunity to showcase to the world the ingenuity, spectacle, beauty, and industrial might of our young nation. Firearms manufacturers took the opportunity as well, sparing no expense to showcase their finest wares to an international audience. There are four guns from the 1893 World’s Fair appearing in our 2016 April Premiere Auction and this video takes a brief look at each.
