I made a series of short videos to show you the difference between the blackpowder ignition systems. They are all filmed with 400 frame per sec and slowed to 50%. The wheelock allowed to have the arm ready to fire everytime. There was no need to care for the match, and keep it burning. Better ignition system, but very expensive.
Well this is my channel and these are my impressions about shooting old and repro blackpowder and cartridge guns. In fact I graduated as one. Later I studied military sciences on university level, and now I am doing my phd in firearms history while I teach military history at the university.
