“Forged in Snow” is a book I have been working on for five years, over the course of many visits to Finland. It covers everything from pistols to Mosins to submachine guns, light machine guns, and Finnish Kalashnikovs – plus the brand new Sako AR models being adopted by the Finnish Defense Forces right now. I’ve had help from the Finnish Army Museum, Sako Defense, Varusteleka, and many Finnish small arms collectors as I’ve been writing, and I’m really excited at the results – and you will be too!
At Forgotten Weapons I think the most interesting guns out there are the most obscure ones. I try to search out experimental and prototype weapons and show you how they work, in addition to more conventional guns that you may not have heard of before.
