“Ada Blackjack: A True Story of Survival in the Arctic” by Jennifer Niven:
https://amzn.to/42UBKpG
In the past couple days, I have had two people send me two different images, asking me to identify the odd rifles in them. Both were posted claiming to be Ada Blackjack, and Inuit woman who survived stranded alone on Wrangel Island for about 9 months in 1923. Both were actually AI-generated fake slop. This is particularly irritating to me because real images of the real Ada Blackjack are readily available at the merest search online. There is no reason to disrespect this woman’s memory by making up fake pictures of here. Yuck.

Cool Forgotten Weapons merch! http://shop.forgottenweapons.com

At Forgotten Weapons I think the most interesting guns out there are the most obscure ones. I try to search out experimental and prototype weapons and show you how they work, in addition to more conventional guns that you may not have heard of before. You’re much more likely to find a video on the Cei Rigotti or Webley-Fosbery here than an AR or Glock. So, do you want to learn about something new today? Then stick around!
