Decadent and deadly, this stunning bespoke triple barrel rifle from Karl Hauptmann is a masterpiece of allegory.
Its case mimics a leather-bound tome appropriately titled “Septem peccata mortalia” and inside, housed in a blood red leather, is the technically demanding triple rifle. No expense was spared in its creation, from the deluxe materials and craftsmanship from one of Austria’s finest gunmakers, to the sinister engraving depicting each of the seven deadly sins.
Firearms built or decorated around a theme can be found, but rarely if ever are they executed to Hauptmann’s level of perfection and demonic detail.
