Aly and Kaufman LLC has produced a new receiver to turn a Brownells BRN-180 into a functional lookalike of a British L85A1 bullpup. These are not strict clones of the SA80, but rather an approximation to give the vibe. They are shipping as kits to be assembled with your own upper, and are FFL items. The first batch has sold out, and the second batch is coming soon. A neat option given the utter impossibility of getting an L85A1 here…and possibly the first example of a repro that will likely work better than the original it is copying.

At Forgotten Weapons I think the most interesting guns out there are the most obscure ones. I try to search out experimental and prototype weapons and show you how they work, in addition to more conventional guns that you may not have heard of before. You’re much more likely to find a video on the Cei Rigotti or Webley-Fosbery here than an AR or Glock. So, do you want to learn about something new today? Then stick around!
