I had an argument with a friend of mine about the optimal sight-in distance of the 45/70 hunting cartridges. He stated that the 45/70 is not suitable for longer ranges than 80-100 meters. Well here is the proof he was wrong. The rifle is a Pedersoli Boarbuster Shadow rifle in the mighty old 45/70 Government caliber.
