Angstadt Arms has a new single-stamp system for a rifle suppressor, called the Prophet. It’s a full 16″ barrel (available in 5.56, .300 Blk, and 9×19) that is ported for the last approximately 6″. It is fitted with a hub-compatible suppressor base, and a .45 caliber suppressor fits over the end of the barrel. The barrel porting vents gas into the can to suppress the rifle, and when not in use the can itself can be removed and used on another firearm by just having an extra hub mount. Neat!

At Forgotten Weapons I think the most interesting guns out there are the most obscure ones. I try to search out experimental and prototype weapons and show you how they work, in addition to more conventional guns that you may not have heard of before. You’re much more likely to find a video on the Cei Rigotti or Webley-Fosbery here than an AR or Glock. So, do you want to learn about something new today? Then stick around!
