This is the story of the Swiss M1842 percussion military rifle intended to the elite light infantry troops, the sharpshooters of the Swiss Federal Army. This was the very first rifle of such duty that was made after – no so strict – central regulations. Learn the history of the rifle and get closer to the tactics, traninig and purpose of the sharpshooter troops of Switzerland in the mid 19th century.
