Winchester Trapper carbines were produced with short barrels for ease of handling. With factory barrels as short as 12-inches, many today require NFA paperwork (or an exemption).
As their name implies, they were often used on trap lines and saw hard use. Examples like this 16-inch version, are seldom seen with THIS much original finish. What a beauty!
