This week we interview the legendary Dale Dye, who has served as a Military Advisor on some of the most famous films from within the war genre. From Platoon to Saving Private Ryan, Dale has more than perhaps anyone else shaped how actors and productions create the modern war film.
Since the mid 1980s Dale and his company Warriors Inc. has been instrumental in the production of dozens of films, TV programmes and video games including Saving Private Ryan, Casualties of War, The Pacific, The Beast, Masters of the Air, Greyhound, Last of the Mohicans, the Medal of Honor games, Tropic Thunder, The Last Full Measure and many, many more.
