Lara Croft burst onto the scene in 1996 as the female archeologist protagonist of the “Tomb Raider” series of video games. The best-selling video game heroine to date, Lara has inspired numerous sequels, comic books, cartoons, and several live action movies.
The first of said movies was “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” released in 2001 and starring Angelina Jolie.
