The ATF eForm system is here:
https://eforms.atf.gov/EForms/
On December 15, the ATF is taking the eForm system offline to migrate it from ATF’s mainframe onto a cloud-based hosting system. When it returns (migration is expected to take 2-6 days) it will include a live eForm 4 option. Unlike previous attempts to do this, this will include the ability to upload digital fingerprints as an EFT format file. The is the FBI’s fingerprint data format, and can be created by virtually any digital fingerprint machine. Photos can also be uploaded as part of the process, and tax stamp payment can be made via any major credit card.
The stated goal from ATF is to have processing time for eForm 4 down to 90 days by the end of 2022, and 30 days by the end of 2023. We will see if those goal can be met, but any improvement over the current 7-9 months (and sometimes as much as 14 months) would be welcome.

At Forgotten Weapons I think the most interesting guns out there are the most obscure ones. I try to search out experimental and prototype weapons and show you how they work, in addition to more conventional guns that you may not have heard of before. You’re much more likely to find a video on the Cei Rigotti or Webley-Fosbery here than an AR or Glock. So, do you want to learn about something new today? Then stick around!
