The Model 41\/48 improved the stock, sights, and controls &#8211; and virtually all of the guns underwent these changes. Original configuration 1941 examples are extremely rare today, so I made sure to take this opportunity to show you the one in the Springfield Armory NHS reference collection when I was there filming.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the Springfield Armory National Historic Site for giving me access to this truly unique specimen from their reference collection to film for you!
