Leo Genn leads a company of battle-weary troops as they are ordered to defend an artillery observation post in Tunisia in 1943. <\/p>\n<p>The film features a strong cast along with some fantastic depictions of Bren guns and the PIAT, it was Michael Carreras\u2019 first directorial effort and it perhaps boasts a more gritty feel than many of its contemporaries.
