With a quick twist the Chelembrom cocked the flint, primed the pan, closed the frizzen, loaded the main powder charge, and placed a ball all in VERY short order. Several of these fascinating mechanisms can be found in some of the world&#8217;s top museums.<\/p>\n<p>The Ellis-Jennings four-shot flintlock rifle borrows elements from the better-known Beltom repeating flintlock.
