This is a extremely rare, cased, triple set of percussion revolvers that includes a Navy, a Model 1849 Pocket, and a Model 1855 Sidehammer.<\/p>\n<p>Lt. Bent&#8217;s life is impressive on its own.  A Navy officer, he started his career at the age of 19.  He served as an adviser, as a lieutenant to Commodore Perry, and even worked to secure 18 POWs from Japan after extremely intense negotiations.  Bent made many trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific voyages.<\/p>\n<p>Discovered in the 1930s in St. Louis, this triple cased set has since been numerous iconic collections and appeared in several prominent publications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lt.
